This notice explains how Adtelligent Limited handles personal information when you use the Adtelligent Studios website, request a quote, book or enquire about a service, download resources, or otherwise contact us.
1. Who we are
Adtelligent Studios is operated by Adtelligent Limited, located at 4a Sylvan Avenue, Kingston 5, Jamaica. In relation to personal information collected through this website, Adtelligent Limited determines why and how that information is used.
This policy is intended to reflect the privacy principles and data subject rights established by Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020 and related regulations. It should be read together with any additional privacy notice provided for a specific service or client engagement.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect information you provide directly, including:
- name, business email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, country and city;
- profession, organisation type and the service or production need you select;
- preferred dates and times, project deadlines, budget ranges and production requirements;
- project notes, goals, brief links, uploaded briefs, scripts, decks, storyboards, reference images and other files or information you choose to include in an enquiry;
- booking details and the status of a booking or enquiry; and
- account or authentication information where access to a protected area requires sign-in.
We may also receive limited technical and usage information generated when you interact with the site, such as which booking option you selected, which resource you downloaded, or which general service category was included in a quote request.
3. How we use information
We use personal information only for legitimate business and service purposes, including to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotes, proposals or production recommendations;
- schedule tours, technical tests, production sessions and other requested services;
- communicate about projects, availability, deliverables and client support;
- maintain operational records for enquiries and bookings;
- understand how visitors use key website features and improve those features;
- protect the website, our systems and our users from misuse or security threats; and
- meet applicable legal, regulatory, accounting and contractual obligations.
We process personal information where there is a lawful reason to do so, including where processing is necessary to respond to your request, take steps toward a service arrangement, perform an agreement, comply with law, or where you have provided consent when consent is required.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers used to operate this website may process or store information outside Jamaica. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we seek to use providers and arrangements that provide appropriate protection and to handle such transfers consistently with applicable Jamaican data protection requirements.
7. How long we keep information
Website enquiry and lead information that does not become part of an active client engagement is ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a shorter period is appropriate or a longer period is required for a legitimate legal or business reason.
Booking information is ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the relevant booking or requested booking date where no ongoing client relationship exists. If an enquiry becomes a client project, relevant records may be retained with the client and project records for the applicable contractual, accounting, legal and dispute-resolution periods.
Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained for longer where it no longer identifies an individual.
8. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and any lawful exemptions, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including rights to be informed, request access, request correction, restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, and raise concerns about certain automated decision-making.
To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You may also contact Jamaica's Office of the Information Commissioner if you have concerns about how personal information is being handled. Visit oic.gov.jm for current guidance and contact information.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or misuse. These measures include limiting administrative access to operational records and using the access controls provided by the platforms that support the site.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal data incident, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with applicable legal obligations.
10. Third-party websites and embedded services
The site may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including social networks, Google Drive, video providers and externally hosted media. When you open or interact with those services, the third party may receive technical information from your browser and will process information under its own privacy terms.
We encourage you to review the privacy information of any third-party service before providing personal information directly to it.
